The DS-401 is a desktop solution using Scanspeak's 2" full range driver - 5F/8422T01. The drivers are assembled in a cabinet designed for a frequency response of 250Hz to 20kHz.. When used with a desktop amplifier, the sonics of this speaker will exceed what one would typically expect from a speaker of such size.
